As AAM gears up for Town Hall meetings in Ohio and Pittsburgh, we thought we’d take a look at our event in Des Moines, Iowa last week. By the way, before John Ratzenberger hosted the Town Hall meeting, he visited the Des Moines Bridgestone/Firestone plant.

Dear AAM,
I noticed the advertisement for John John Ratzenberger’s pending trip to Columbus, Ohio and the meeting set for Thursday, November 8th to discuss manufacturing in the United States. I plan on attending and wanted to make it known that the company I work for has special interest in this subject. Priority Designs is an industrial design consultancy with 50 employees and is located in Columbus, Ohio. We have been responsible for designing thousands of products in our 17 year history. Our clients include American Standard, TaylorMade Golf, Rheem, Rawlings, etc. Our role as a design resource often leads us to connect with production vendors from around the world. Outsourcing to Asian rim production facilities has become the norm, but we see some real possibilities and advantages to staying state side. We would be interested in contacting Mr. Ratzenberger directly and possibly even arranging a visit of our facility if he happens to have a spare hour while in Columbus. I realize this is a tall order but I can say with certainty that he, and other staff members from AAM and Made in America would be impressed and enlightened by a tour.
Also, I will try and contact the Made in America team directly. Thank you for your time.
Best regards,
Mark Mnich
Sr. Designer/Director Business Development
