I'm curious as to why the sites for the townhall meetings are in the east and midwest parts of the country. Oh, and S.Carolina. Why nothing west of the Mississippi?

I loved seeing the news interview Sunday night on CNN - had the fortune of seeing there, as opposed to being on one of the big 3 and only wish that more could view this....as many feel it...I myself have shopped for clothing and articles 'Made in the USA' and ALWAYS look where the item is manufactured as experience has shown, items made elsewhere do not have the quality - all the way around - that those MADE IN THE USA have and will always have....no matter what it is we can do it! Those companies who have taken their manufacturing jobs overseas are also GLOBAL WARMERS!!! In addition, please keep up to the good work to continue making America strong.......and by the way, please be sure that all trades DO NOT HIRE ILLEGAL ALIENS......it's only right.....

Regarding Wordsmith's comment about holding Town Hall meetings in other parts of the country, we're certainly interested in organizing more of them, and holding them west of the Mississippi. Right now, we're getting up to speed on launching and promoting the campaign. But we're trying to expand westward, and your comments are certainly encouraging. Let's see what we can do in 2008. (Certainly the plan is to get manufacturing on the radar in every state, so we're going to do what it takes. And we need you to keep speaking out as well).

Thanks for writing in,
